I just assume all sales numbers are fake. Game sales stats have been futzed with all the way back to the 90s, the NYT "Bestseller" lists gets gamed hard, and I really doubt Amazon's sales numbers.
I'm confident all these games could be made with half the staff in the same amount of time to what would quite likely be a higher quality if the right 50% were fired.
