This will sound weird, but the straight up communists are more honest and less back bitey than the regular lefty. They know they're far left and won't lie to themselves about it.
I know several neo-marxists. None of them are honest about wanting to usher in an authoritarian regime of murder and reeducation camps.
Personally I don't value that kind of honesty from people who would happily slit my throat for not wanting to be a tax slave.
I can dig it. I can actually have a conversation with the "dirt bag left." They are direct with their intentions. "Progressive" lefties either immediately shut down or switch to CNN talking points and refuse to have a conversation if I ever challenge them.
Progressives rarely realize what their opinion is. They just follow the bubble.
It's good to have friendly relationships with as many non assholes as possible.
That way there's more chance they let things slip in your presence and you get an advanced warning when shit goes down.

The less vocal ones who posted it specifically moved to Seattle because it's so lefty. They get angry it's not lefty enough and that Seattlites are lazy.
They don't understand Communism very well, then. The death of motivation to achieve is a direct consequence of Communism ( and Globalism ).
It's shocking how hard working many of them are, but they don't understand why no one else works as hard as them.

Like they wouldn't have lined up and happily voted Biden anyway. A basically unanimous majority of the Left are beholden to their political wranglers. They get told they might be acting "Right-wing" and they'll instantly bow their heads and comply with whatever the Democrats want.
These ones refused to vote for Biden because they wanted Bernie.
