One look at their respective videos tells you everything you need to know. GN are sweaty nerds autistically obsessing over every fine detail, which is exactly what you want from your hardware review channel. LTT are clearly more like buzzfeed, all polished and superficially pleasing, with Reddit-tier commentary that sucks in the normies and other idiots. Linus built a brand, and now the brand is more important than the product. Predictable.
I hope Billet sues the fuck out of them for stealing and selling their product (a one of a kind prototype that they sold at a public auction), that whole situation likely killed the company and could have even allowed a competitor to buy up the prototype to make their own copy of.
Ditched watching the cunts ever since the backpack 'trust me bro' bullshit.
They were selling mediocre backpack for $250 without a warranty and instead basically told people 'trust me bro, we'll take care of it' for if it had problems because he didn't want to legally honor a warranty because in the future 'it could affect muh family' or some retarded bullshit.
YouTubers/streamers appealing to their “livelihoods” is beyond retarded. These people have cushy non-jobs by the grace of their (socially rerarded/psychologically broken) audiences. Complaining that such a gravy train might someday end is the height of entitlement.
Also, scum bags have justified their shitty behavior with “muh family” since forever.

What is it with groups having such crazy problems with bags? I'm reminded of the Fallout 76 canvas bag fiasco now.
Linus sold a backpack where their warranty policy is just trust me bro, rather than to have a more formal statment (since it would be legally binding).

Pretty much as expected. Only a retard would trust LTT for accurate tech info, however one thing HN mentions I disagree with - the mouse feet thing. If a mouse really does have transparent film on its feet with no pull tabs, that is a shitty design and the manufacturer's fault if a reviewer (or user) misses them.
Eh, no pull tabs can be a valid minor negative design point in a review because an inexperienced user might miss them. But it is still a total failure of a reviewer to conduct friction testing and not even inspect the pads properly.
Linus is shrewd and calculated. He's building gaming PCs and running a youtube tech channel for a living and is constantly participating and sharing in game culture memes, while not playing any games himself.
It makes sense that he doesn't have any spare time playing video games, while building up a company, but this guy encourages others to waste their time playing video games, so that he has a guaranteed revenue stream.
He keeps his eye on the ball, while profiting off others' vices.

Could not have said it better myself. Is all this rushing to pump the numbers for a potential buyout?
LTT lost credibility once they became over-commercially

what's the backpack thing? I avoid youtube drama (and most social media).

There's a lot of things I'm okay with being "dude just trust me bro", but that? Naw.
is the tranny running the show now
High pitched lisping skinny faggot with earrings is a leftist? Who would have guessed.

Yeah the reviewer is dumb but the same mistake would've been made by many people who bought it too.
And I wouldn't blame the users because it's not their job to be knowledgeable and meticulous about stuff like that.
It is the reviewer's job though, and people deserve to get shit on for taking money for a job they're too incompetent/negligent to complete correctly.
The plastic will come off in a week or so and then people will say "oh snap this mouse is good after all!"
Just discovered a double post of this, mods need to purge them when found.
