The very recent legal challenges to drag performances coincided exactly with the very recent compulsion on the part of drag queens to perform for children. This is why Democracies around the world are now being forced to enact laws against hate speech and misinformation. We're becoming more inclusive. Religious zealots are dying out. and from what i've seen, the regs targeting drag shows only prohibit performances in front of minors.
the florida regulators who went after the liquor licenses of the venues hosting these events even took pics of the performances... they're using sex toys on stage, simulating sexual acts, in front of children, after encouraging children to come.
