Maybe the hospitals need to hone in on the word "undocumented" here. Clearly these bills should not exist, as no documentation is to be associated with these entities.
My coworkers nearly kill themselves to be first to give free shit to a minority person.
Its always amazing hearing people report things that should be shocking massive discoveries, if not for the fact that everybody should have known this a decade ago because it was being talked about back then just the same.
If you ever wondered why generic Tylenol costs $200 in the emergency room, this is why.
It's certainly one of the reasons. There are plenty more though. For example, my friend's girlfriend went to the doctor recently and they mixed up some of her papers with someone else's. Well, that's a HIPAA violation, so the place ended up having to pay several thousand in fines (to the government of course, not to my friend's GF) for a simple clerical error that really didn't need to be a big deal.
That's okay. They vote Democrat, which means the hospitals get their money back in the form of your tax dollars. Everybody wins! Except you. You lose.
Young healthy people don't need to pay for health insurance. The number of people that work 40 hours a week at some shit job just to pay another 400$ a month for sub Saharan level health insurance makes me cringe.
The solution here is to cut taxes and stop subsidizing their healthcare.
