So many problems would be solved if marriage were treated like any other contract. The current system rewards women for breaking the contract, so it's little wonder that they're constantly throwing their husbands in the garbage. It's insane to enter into a contract with someone who's essentially being bribed into fucking you over.
Speaking for the male side of things, I don't think people are souring on fatherhood. The problem is that fatherhood has been dead in the West for the last 50 years or so. When a man has kids he's not signing up to be a father, he's signing up to be a pay pig. Any other role wrt the child is at the mother's sole discretion, and men are wising up to that fact.

The ones that will always have a lot of kids are the religious and dumb people. The religious because they want to spread and multiply to make their faith more prominent, dumb people because they don't give a fuck, they want their dick wet and enjoy the feeling of a creampie.
The 'smart' people (as this is subjective) take too long umming and ahhing about costs, the environment, getting a good school, right home location etc that they put off having kids and sometimes too late to have them. The left are just hedonistic abortion freaks which kept natural numbers low so they tried to replace that with indoctrination in education, fortunately from some of the videos of 'pride month' coming out, it's no longer as effective so they'll die off in a generation.
Edit: when I say RIGHT people, that's the way the argument is framed. I'm all for the religious taking over again as unironically a LOT of people need Jesus. I'd be more concerned about dumb as we might make idiocracy as much of a documentary as Demolition man has, without the explosions.
