Not wrong, but also, Tsarist Russia was fucking atrocious for pretty much everyone (see, the Circassian war + ethnic cleansing, for one), so, while yes, the Bolsheviks ended up being no better, it was probably inevitable the previous regime would collapse into something anarchic… Imporartant to bear that in mind.
Same with Iran under the Shah, and the Ancien Regime in France…
Like, yes, the revolutions in those respective places ended up making things arguably worse, but let’s not underestimate how fucked things were in those places before each of those revolutions, lol…
