Let's not forget that despite Trump warning the Germans not to shut down their nuclear reactors and make themselves dependent on Russian energy, when they didn't (and Biden decided it was necessary to basically destroy the integrity of NATO), we bombed their energy infrastructure in violation of international law, NATO regulation, and as an act of war against our NATO ally. Best part: we didn't even offset the destruction of thier infrastructure with cheaper American energy because we'd also already shut down our own.
Now they have no nuclear facilities, extremely expensive energy (being shipped through India from Russia), and they have no idea how they are going to afford paying for said energy through this winter. This past winter, they got lucky and managed to have a warm one, but if it gets too cold, they're gonna see bodies pile up.
You should buy candles. Energy prices might get high enough that warming specific rooms with blankets for insulation, and candles for heat will make it relatively amenable. Putting one of those thick blankets over a window keeps lots of heat in. I found that for a small room, one of those 3 wicked candles works okay.
Just don't burn your house down.
If you are just heating it while you are in it, you might be able to keep high quality candles going for a week. So the room might need 10-12 sets of candles.
Correct, something that people don't talk about enough especially the mainstream is that Russia has been quietly reducing it's reliance on the west for anything and encouraging it's own trade agreements through Iran and China. I also believe that the totally not a fed operation protest movement in Iran which seems to have largely fizzed out now was part of a potential glowie op to break that.
Any leader the west installs if they overthrow the current leadership in Iran would likely be a western puppet who would break the trade corridor and side with the west to blockade. Not only that Russia switched over to the gold standard to reduce reliance on the dollar, they're doing everything right. I would not be shocked if on top of their natural gas they also started up nuclear power plants where they could to make life even cheaper for them and their allies.
Russia is positioning themselves well and absolutely kicking the west's arse, this is undeniable to anyone with more than two brain cells except the most diehard Ukrainian flag waving NPC. Even if they were to lose the war with Ukraine ( which they aren't ) they are in a very comfortable position economically. I've been doing the maths on my own personal situation and it's looking like solar is going to end up being a potential investment because the fucking green and WEF politicians are fucking up the energy logistics so badly and I fully expect rolling blackouts to start happening even here in the UK. It will likely start when they go and try to nationalise the energy companies in response to the mess they've created. The normies can't put two and two together that yes all this shit with Russia is linked to their rising prices so they're already blaming the companies for it.
It's one of the reasons why I'm still thinking about just fucking off into the wilderness somewhere and I really wouldn't blame anyone else for doing the same, depends on how bad things get.

Not looking forward to it, I'll tell you that.

This is shocking. Not that he does not care about the economy, most leftist hate prosperity, but that he is a white male.
He must be spectacularly self hating - its the only way he would be allowed
This doesn't show China's automotive industry as an existential threat - Russia is only importing their cars because they have no other options.

It reads as if Germany is winning so hard they are trying to set up handicaps just to make it fun. This is really dumb.
