There's nothing wrong with objectification. That's always been the case and will forever be the case. All people "objectify" all people. It's a fake term that means nothing.
Weird hearing about KiA2. It's like being reminded of an estranged family member you haven't seen in years. Then there's KiA prime... We don't talk about KiA prime....
This is only true if aesthetics are wholly separate from character. Physiognomy is clearly very real to these eyes. You can tell a whole hell of lot about a woman by her appearance.
There's reasons not to lust after others, that being it's a sin, and it's committing adultery in your heart. I don't like when churches use feminist arguments as I've heard them do, when the Bible is clear on why you don't look with lust. People don't need to borrow the feminist argument.
This is a really good point. There is such a thing as a dehumanizing process they call "objectification" when people watch a ton of porn and start referring to women as "fuckdolls" etc, but that's only possible because of the permissive attitude towards lust in the first place.
That permissive attitude being denied to men in Current Year means it's now way more common for women to view males as "fuckboys" than vice-versa. (or at least express those feelings out loud)
Women wanting to see attractive men is fine. My issue is the constant whining of women who aren’t fans enter a majority make space and change everything because the corporations listen to their nonsense.
If your baseline assumption is that men have no value as a sex, while women have inherent value as a sex and thus are superior, then that argument holds water. And there's plenty of female supremacists on both sides of the aisle, so you'll hear arguments that root from that assumption quite a bit.
I'll believe it when these men who are subjected to the female gaze are not depicted as gorgeous Adonises, subjected to shirtless scenes showing off their sculpted pecs and abs, are written to have lives outside of what they can do for the resident female protagonist, don't put up with their shit if they start fawning over some other guy, and have the women make real sacrifices for their sake and not just expect the men to do and be everything for them out the gate.

By KiA prime do you mean half-KiA?
The one that spawned from 2014. It's the origin point, so uh, probably?
Oh fuck. Egg on my face too then. I read the title and didn't personally verify it.. oof that's embarrassing. You just get so used to saying kia2.

The male gaze is real and that is why Allah instructed women to be covered in the presence of men, and Allah knows best.
Inshallah
