Bill Goldberg's an improperly-trained egomaniac who never liked wrestling and only did it for the money. No cardio, could never go longer than five minutes without sucking wind unless he was wrestling Diamond Dallas Page.
On that last note, if you like wrestling, check out Goldberg vs. DDP at Halloween Havoc 1998. It's by far the best match the former has ever had. Still can't believe Page never wrestled until he was thirty-five...

Also MJF isn't today's Roddy Piper, if anything he's more of a Ric Flair. But to be honest he's neither because those guys wrestle more than a dozen times a year. Probably a dozen times a in 10 days back in those days.
Yes. And now that everyone knows untelevised shows are a money-loser, not to mention the extra wear-and-tear on wrestlers, they're not done so much anymore. Too much money to be made with TV contracts. The game has changed.
Which is odd, as AEW recently brought a few house shows back, per request of the wrestlers themselves. I guess they want the extra ring time.
