Plus “illegal immigrant” or the “illegal” descriptor generally is a major language-policing talking point. “No human is illegal!” they cry. And like, I don’t even really get THAT bothered about border jumpers, in the grand scheme of things, but it’s definitely illegal and you definitely take the risk of having worse done to you than being called “illegal” if you breach a nation’s borders without permission. Seems to me “illegal immigrant” is a fair description and if being called that is the worst thing that happens, they’re doing alright. Sometimes just for a laugh I tell libs I agree not to call them “illegal” but I reserve the right to shoot them on sight. Just to see what they say.
