I can barely put into words how dangerous and twisted it is that it is now the NYT and WashPost that does the FBI's job for it by hunting down leakers of classified information -- the people on whom real journalism depends -- working in tandem with state-funded Bellingcat: (twitter.com)

98% of the media have been establishment actors for decades if not centuries. Because who wants to risk their neck in actually dangerous situations to uncover the truth of a situation than receive a nice pat on the head as the establishments lapdogs.

Don’t forget the FBI admitted to finding CIA journalist plants in the Kennedy investigation. That Hillary’s emails listed multiple journalists that would write puff pieces for them on a whim. The largest journalistic prize the Pulitzer is named after the mogul that conspired with Hearst to drive the country into war for profit. Corpo journalism’s loyalty is to the party, no different than any state media.

Remember the guy who posted all those tweets simply pointing out how many American journalists were from elite wealthy families?

Remember how twitter banned him the next day?

Yeah.

Leave it to journalists to hold power to truth!

What you're observing is why there are pretty much no real investigative journalists around. James O'Keefe is a mild example of what happens to investigative journalists.

The sad thing about that is he shows how EASY it is to do. I'm not knocking O'keefe personally but the fact we get SO much information from the classic honey pot trick shows how comfortable the establishment has gotten knowing they aren't under real scrutiny.
