I know comicsgate has a lot of independent artist who are actually making a push for an alternative. But we never saw any real GG related project manifest.

Making a comic is easier than making a game, especially for a specific audience. GamerGate was mostly about the fans and journalists, ComicsGate is much more about the publishers.
The proponents of Gamergate were liberals that got a severe case of TDS. They can't reconcile their cognitive dissonance of supporting the lies of the left vs the truths that lead them to Gamergate to start with.
Journalists are corrupt and evil... but orange man is very bad, CNN and MSNBC said so - Daily Struggle meme.
Aside milo and sfo. Who else got outed as a grifter?
Sfo’s a grifter? I remember liking some of his stuff. What did he do?
his not a grifter. he just has tds.
What about Japanese gaming companies? They seem less “woke”
Japanese games we only enjoy through a filter. Some woketard thinking they can translate something to mean something entirely different is the issue. Or just outright censorship cuz can't have nice things for those evil gamers. If you read and speak Japanese enough to understand though than there's no issue. I am trying to learn but it is rather hard. Mostly so I don't have the filter anymore.
Especially bad is Nintendo imho. The America branch is probably the worst. Their translations are entirely changing the meaning of things, changing designs and often times taking out looks and storylines(the persona x fire emblem crossover comes to mind or xenoblade x).
Gamergate was never an organized business model, Comicsgate is. GG was a bunch of people - rightly - getting pissed off and calling out bullshit and, outside of occasionally organizing some campaigns, didn't go much beyond that.
CG was a bunch of people - rightly - getting pissed off, and deciding to sell their own stuff to compete with the bullshit. Totally different models, one of which is a lot more sustainable because it has direction and purpose built right into it. Not saying this in a bad way, but CG exists to make people money; they're going to do everything they can to keep their livelihoods. Fewer people built their livelihoods on GG, and those that did did so in such a way that it was transferable to any other internet venture, basically. They built their online personality/name as their brand, and could basically do anything with that. For the biggest people, GG served its purpose, and there wasn't as much incentive to keep driving it forward. And, as someone else mentioned, some of those people even got TDS and other lib-related issues, and ended up actively hating the movement they either helped build or latch on to. So, in some ways, the falling in relevance of GG was active sabotage by a bunch of bitter weirdos.
But I think the bigger issue is the first one I mentioned; CG is a business model, GG never really was.
Comicsgate didn't have a bunch of leftist jannies pushing over each other trying to be the one running it. Gamergate was doomed by the foolish pretense of being moderate, and the idiotic decision to not expell the liberals.
GG was actively suppressed by multiple government agencies. Anyone competent enough to do anything was banned from the whole internet, pressured out of their job, de-banked, and/or they found something to arrest them for. Comicsgate happened after someone told the British to knock that shit off, so they have not been targeted as much.

I never once heard of comicsgate. When gamergate happened it was so viral that it temporarily took over the forums I hung out to such an extent that I could hardly have avoided learning something about it even if I wanted to avoid it
Because so many Gamers are autistic leftists.
