Why the fuck would PrEP be free? This isn't a life-saving drug, it's just so AIDS-riddled fags can have sex.

it's just so AIDS-riddled fags can have sex.

"AIDS-riddled fags having sex is our greatest strength" or something. Bigot.

In case someone besides me was curious why it was actually struck down...

Judge Reed O’Connor of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas said the Affordable Care Act requirement for insurers to cover care and products recommended by the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force is unconstitutional because members of that panel — 16 volunteers, typically doctors and scientists — were not appointed by the president and approved by the Senate, violating the U.S. Constitution’s appointments clause. O’Connor wrote that two other federal groups – the Health Resources and Services Administration and the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices – are allowed to require insurers to cover certain products and services because they were created by the Health and Human Services Secretary, a presidential appointee. HRSA covers a range of women’s health care including contraceptives, while ACIP requires routine vaccinations.

While I'm sure there's a lot of other bureaucratic regulations and laws on the books that are even more unconstitutional and remain unchallenged, if you want this covered the solution is simple.

Same shit with preventing pregnancy. Same shit with preventing a lot of chronic diseases. Cha ching cha ching cha ching cha ching. Those that can't pay just have the hospitals eat the bill and prices get higher for everyone else. Over and over it's been shown that you save money when you take preventative measures rather than saving a few pennies now to lose that money a hundredfold down the road.

You mean a multibillion dollar industry that wouldn’t exist if faggots weren’t faggots? All you just said is that it’s easier to have straight people pay for faggots than actually make faggots be held accountable for their actions…

Prevention is cheaper than treatment, yes. Now you're getting it. Sick people don't just drop dead, they undergo long treatments and see doctors as their health declines and those costs will just get shouldered onto everyone else.

And you’re not getting it, the act of sodomy alone causes massive guaranteed health complications to include massive colorectal and penile cancer risks. You’re not mitigating costs by helping fags have more sex you’re just solving one problem to add 5 more. There’s a reason gay people don’t normally make it to life expectancy age…

Sucks to be them. They should have to pay for the consequences of their actions. It's real easy to not be a massive slut and get tons of diseases.

Then they can be in their own high risk pool.

If they can't, they can all die of aids. Don't be a whore, it's easy.

fags gonna fag. That's reality. Know what's more expensive than preventing HIV? When people get infected.

Arrows Drugs cost money. The dead cost nothing. -- Some Englishman, allegedly.

This sadly also removes covering free cancer screenings.

This one part is a big mistake.

The Dems will get to paint the Republicans as pro-cancer.

Removing free aids drugs for sodomites is a definite positive.

That's my point. This isn't preventative. It's enabling. It enables and incentivizes dangerous, even insane behavior.

If you'd rather pay for the lifetime of treatment that's undoubtedly still covered, I guess.

So long as it's a shorter lifetime, I see this as an absolute win.
