I’ll get the Xbox gamepass between now and then and officially move away from Sony. I know Bethesda has bent the knee but my dream of “Skyrim in space” is still strong.

So it'll be playable some time in the next 2-3 years when all the DLC has been released and the fans fixed the game with mods.
Ha! True. To be fair I’m still faithfully playing modded Skyrim
I'm a bit behind on Bethesda games. Just played Fallout New Vegas. Fallout 4 and Skyrim are still on my backlog. So I don't mind waiting a few years for Starfield.
Something happened with my OldRim, all my Nexus mods disappeared or something. :( Oh, well, I guess it's time to see what the nicer version is like, after several hours of tracking down the equivalents of my OldRim mods, sigh. Is Wyrmstooth available, I wonder? I have the old version, but I remember when the guy took it down to concentrate on college or something.
It’s still available. I did the main quest there but have been meaning to go back for the side stuff.
Cool, cool, cool. I started but never finished it, because of stupid restartitis (oo, more mods!), especially before that massive-ass Dragonborn Museum mod was finished.
I have that. Although what I do now is for the huge land/quest mods I do the main quest and then eventually go back for the side stuff. Reminds me I still have a ton of open quests in Bruma
yeah, that's where I am. Before looking at it, I need to see how watered-down the RPG systems are, how deep the world actually is, how buggy it is and how mod-friendly it is
I'm hesitant till I see how woke it is.
And by that, I mean I'll probably wait a year or so for a sale. Probably longer.
Understand.
They already bragged about pronoun BS being part of it. No telling how woke it will be, but they're already off to a bad start.
Don't get hyped. I expect fallout 4 in space at best. If its better I will be surprised and happy though.
I’ve never played Fallout but I’ve been told it’s like Skyrim in a post apocalyptic world.
Fallout is a top-down isometric RPG based on GURPS RPG mechanics where your choices guide greatly impact character development and the story ending. Fallout 3 and 4 are a bit like Skyrim in an alternate-history post-apocalyptic world, yeah.
There is the theory that Skyrim is fallout thousands of years in the future.
Is Gamepass downloadable games or streaming games? At least I can mod with the former.
I downloaded MS Flight Simulator and modded it on a $1 Gamepass trial.
Based MSFS Enjoyer
Both. You can do both, but I think it depends on tier.
Downloadablw I think.
Damn, disappointed, but satisfied at the same time. Well, at least it won't threaten to distract me from summer. :) I'll probably dig it on GamePass until I all the DLC and mods are out, and my PC is upgraded to something not 4th gen.
Am I the only one who thinks the game looks incredibly bland? Coupled with the downward trend of Bethesda quality over recent years I have essentially zero hype for this game.
Not even enough to check out reviews when it comes out?
Sure, and if it's good I'll be happy I was wrong. Some of my favorite games were Bethesda games back in the day, I'm just not convinced they still have any of the magic left in them.
Can’t argue there. I’ve been waiting for ES6 forever and can’t believe they have taken so much time
