There is nothing quite as irrelevant to the regime as "Ukrainian lives". Like Lindsey Graham said, they want to fight this war until the last Ukrainian. It doesn't lessen the comfort of their lives, besides, they've been killing people all over the world for decades now. What's 10 million fewer Ukrainians alive to them?
