So in case people dont know .Ghost stories was an anime in the 2000's that bombed in Japan because of how boring it was. So the Japanese allowed the English dub team to do whatever they wanted with it as long as they kept the names and kept the overall story relatively the same
The English dub team basically turned it in to an abridged series with tons of politically incorrect jokes lmao. It became so infamous it also got a Japanese dub as well lol.
i meant the part of actually getting permissions from the Japanese studio, i read somewhere that the English director was being unprofessional and made up getting approval after the dub became popular
Sadly that series has been ruined for me on account of the religious girl being played by monica rial who if you forgot is the reason the whole Vic Mignogna stuff happened.
And as a result of this one dub, director Steven Foster kept getting dub work, and he proved so lazy and uncaring that the actors themselves stopped putting effort into their lines--because they knew he would never check them.
This wound up ruining every other dub he worked on, such as Penguindrum.
Look up clips of a show called Guin Saga, especially near the end. That was a Steven Foster dub, and it was clear that the actors had mentally checked out--because so had Foster. And those lazy-sounding takes made it into the final show.
Steven Foster eventually got BLACKLISTED from the entire business because nobody wanted to work with him anymore.
A bad director can get bad performances out of good actors.
A good director can get good performances out of weak actors.
Fuck Steven Foster.
If you want an anime dub like this that was done by people who cared? Three words: Samurai Pizza Cats.
And now you get to slam her for participating in this heresy of woke-thought. The witch dabbled in dark witchcraft in her past and so she gets to symbolically burn on the stake in current times. ;)
The dub is well worth watching. I generally don't get English dubs, my native language isn't English and English dubs are foreign to me. Ghost stories is the exception. My favorite is the hole filler guy, lol.

Did it ever hit tv or was it one of those direct to vhs shows?
i dont know
wasn't it debonked that the Japanese studio allowed them to dub whatever they wanted?
that's what i said. They still had to keep the names and the overall plot. But they could change the script. That's why you got this .

If she's spoken some politically incorrect words in this, might be useful to lampoon her with her own words. Turnabout.

LOL. That ending came out of nowhere.
Holy fuck, that came out of nowhere and I can't stop laughing.
You haven't heard "nepotism" and "these people don't even try" until you hear the PS2 game Chaos Wars.
Instead of professionals, the director hired his own family.
Alot of the people involved are SJWs today though. Monica Rial for instance who voiced Momoko is famous for the shit she gave Vic Mignogna.

SHIEEEEEEEET
good times. Hilariously enough, this was on Amazon recenty. uncensored.
