It was a meme of Christopher Wray in a redcoat outfit. No where did I suggest or even elaborate violence.
Whether you intended it or not, it was a very reasonable reading of what you posted. You normally don't pose crazy stuff (your 'subjugation fetish' stuff excepted), so I tend to believe you.
The negative consequences will not be lessened by your intent though. Just a little bit more care to ensure that it can't be read like that. Is that too much to ask?
Is it fair to ask we abide by how egregious far leftists view things? Are we going to ban milk and the ok sign as “symbols of violence” as well?
Of course you can ask, while I don't speak for this sub or even the subreddit.
Even if you disagree, at least understand that what you posted was seen by the mods as either inciting violence, or very likely to be interpreted as such by the powers that be. That's not really a far-left issue.
The issue is not milk, the ok signal, or even anything that is ideological. There are two things that are real trouble. One is perceived inciting of violence. The other is going too far off the cliff on race. Those are the two things that can bring down this forum, so you can't really play games with it.
Once again, would you ban a photo of a person doing a revolutionary war reenactment and wearing a redcoat? My meme was no different other than the completely unhinged take you and DoM put on it. Or do you forget where you said you would ban a meme of someone dressed as hitler for “inciting violence”. There is just as much onus on milk and the ok sign for being “symbols of violence” as a meme of a redcoat.
