Too many people want a symbol and not a human being. I've seen that happen to way too many kids who want to 'become famous'. They end up going a little crazy with all the pressure.
Instead, I see Peterson as a guy who is a bit burnt out, and unable to keep up the symbol as much as he wants to be. He's human, and should be treated as such.
People want a political messiah, so they turn viciously on anyone at the first sign of imperfection. The guy's just a Psychologist who knows enough about Marxism to despise it.
I hate the purity tests that people place on others, and anyone who fails the purity tests are automatically assumed to be “controlled opposition” or some such nonsense. Half the idiots here inventing these purity tests probably voted for Obama twice and now have the gall to consider themselves the gatekeepers of the “correct” political opinions. Yeah, I think what he did in 2017 and 2018 was really great. I just treat him as if he had died when he went into that coma; nothing since has really been of the same strength, bravery, or character.
