And spent that entire time thinking "we can just one day make people realize how bad it is, then they will obviously fix it because they feel bad for men!"
People do stuff because it is in their interests, not because they 'feel bad'. So that is pretty stupid. That said, there is little reason to "feel bad for men".
I think there is plenty reason to feel bad, but none of that gives you free reign to sulk, lead others astray and be delusional. But that's a whole essay elsewhere.
But the entire movement of "women's rights" is built upon leveraging men's interest (aka desire to fuck and provide/support instinctually) to get what they wanted. It wasn't won through dominance in a war, it was whined until it was given to them. Something these types of MHRA/MRAs think can work in reverse.
The smarter ones realize they won't get sympathy and instead focus on laws and such. Which can make a dent, but fail to realize that the moment it truly becomes a problem for women it'll be stopped immediately. And that's without factoring in the absurd leeway judges/courts have to just blatantly ignore/interpret laws to their emotional desires (which usually always favor the woman anyway).

I feel pretty good. I've heard some stories from people here where you can say that you should feel bad for them, but for men as a class? It's hard to think of any group that's entitled to being felt bad for, except maybe abuse victims or something.

That is no unalterable law of nature, it's only because they can bring more power to bear.

That is an additional issue. But generally, when the powers that be favor group X, both the laws and the courts will do so. If you manage to change the path of least resistance, both the law and the courts will bend.

I do so because while you can be doing just fine, when you aren't you can be in a downward spiral because the level of support available is minimal to zilch. The world doesn't care, the law doesn't, the women don't. If you can't handle it on the chin your options can be literally nothing.
The classic being if your wife wakes up one day and, because the media has filled her head with greener grass and delusions, just decides to take your kids, house and money. You can try to make it amicable, or even fight back, but one word of "he abused me/us" (doesn't need to be true in the slightest) and that's gone too. Your entire life is now a massive uphill struggle where you have nothing, have to work hard to make something, just so you can pay her to maybe use it on your kids and if you fail to do so its jail time.
That's why I feel bad for many. The Western Man is in a precarious position that can be taken away on a whim with little recourse and leaving only the most strong and able able to sustain its weathering.
