We get bombarded by a lot of shit all year round, from governments, media sites to the dying old media. Under this constant barrage of sewage, it's good to have things you can escape to rather than just sit there and absorbing it all like a Liberal arts student.
So whether it's working out, taking walks in a park, gaming, anime or sneaking your trash into that annoying neighbour you have, it's the little things in life.
And although we can hate the management at the top, Youtube is still the number one in terms of content creators and podcasts so what have you enjoyed on that side that stop you looking at bulldozer sales.
I've every week enjoyed Solus Astorias comic dubs, Templin Institute when they are active (off for holidays), Count Dankula and when they drop the Kane Pixels backrooms series showing a teenager has more talent than 99% of Hollywood and media giants. And let's not forget the foriegn market though that language barrier will only last so long to keep out the leftists..
I thought I only had issues with understanding Dankula because I am not a native speaker.
No that's the Scots in general, unless you've lived by them or friends with them for a long time can be REALLY hard to understand the accent. The rural accent though is the worst for newcomers.
I spent 10 days in Wales once. Great folks great time, barely understood a word they said.
But true, the Scots swallow their English like a gulp of scrapple /so hard to decipher.
I surprisingly have no issue despite noticing the Scottish accent, but I am a Canadian though so that might have something to do with it.
It's spoken under the breath instead of with it, so everything is a bit mushed.
If you want a fun challenge try listening two of us [Scots] talking to each other. We may start off talking at a pace that is understandable but we will get quicker and quicker with no signs of stopping.
