I can't remember but didn't Japan have a massive issue getting older generations to get vaccinated? I know they are the power block that stop lots of crazy stuff happening
Like when lockdowns were happening globally, they just made the government instead lock the entire world out instead.
Japan I believe never really had a lockdown and stayed relatively normal and like you said just cut foreign travel and only fully reopened for tourism in September
maybe not an official nationwide lock down, but being the conformist and hypochondriac society that Japan is, most shops and people locked themselves down when the government suggested so, lots of shops went out of business because of it
I'm very concerned about contracting "Died Suddenly". Anyone know any home remedies?
I mean, my cat died of Covid-19 after he got run over by a car, and WebMD just said that was normal, so I'm really struggling with how fast all The Science is updating.
I believe the current science suggests plugging your ears and taking your sedatives until you forget all the heinous shit yesterday's science did.
Oh and that practicing total amnesty for medical malpractice is good for your mental health, whilst writing the NIH into your will reduces your risk of heart disease.
From one fairly well informed person I've been following on the general subject for... 2-3 years now, antioxidants are at least one thing that may help. He also mentions anti-amyloids, but I'm on the fence with the specific items he had listed.
I'll quote a little bit of a comment I had archived for more context:
Can't even sugarcoat it at all. It basically triggers autoimmune disease, heart scarring, and amyloidosis, including the formation of amyloid fibrin clots.
In addition to the usual vitamins, take curcumin, melatonin, lactoferrin, nattokinase, quercetin, resveratrol, and kutki powder. They all have anti-amyloid and antioxidant effects.
Watch out with nattokinase, though. It's a natural blood thinner derived from natto, and it is very similar to taking aspirin. Don't take it if you have any contraindications for blood thinners.
I had reactive arthritis after COVID-19 and swelling in my fingers. I took boron, curcumin, nattokinase, and melatonin and all that "long COVID" bullshit went away. Post-vaccination effects have similarities to long COVID because they're both caused by a proteinopathy induced by the same exact protein as what's on the virus.
I'd definitely recommend doing some additional research and cross-checking some of this yourself before following through on any particular treatment though.
I live in Korea and they are probably sitting at 95% vaccinated. My wife has friends who are fucked up with either never ending periods, or the Pfizer smile. Thankfully we have dodged getting them here, but for awhile we couldn't even go into the stores to shop, because we were unvaccinated and the QR code system they had for awhile wouldn't allow us... was a dystopian nightmare.
But it has eased up a lot, outside of mask wearing, 95% of people still wear mask everywhere.

Japan warned about myocarditis, said to make your own decisions.
One of the only countries to officially do so...probably because a man led the investigation, unlike in Europe or the USA.

Hibiscus
Bless you.

Good try, Canada.
Well, I don't trust myself to make decisions about myself.
What did the experts say? Anyone with a stethoscope will do.
No idea how long this video will stay up but it hasn't got much attention yet.

Bell's Palsy?
Yep... She was fine when we first met her, now looks like half her face slid down her neck...
I'm sure those doctors don't feel very SAD about it.
