This is as stupid as criticizing the janitor for not understanding the intricacies of astrophysics. There has never been a big company with a CEO who knows how to do everything the company does. CEO is just a job, with specific duties.
It also reeks of water cooler gossip being taken as gospel. The intern was a coffee runner who associated with slackers by his own report. A couple lazy bullshit artists pretending they are gods gift to the company while not actually working is sadly common in every large company.
What's the difference between an architect and an engineer? One thinks their God and the other knows it.

Maybe he is neither necessarily friend or enemy, but a useful thorn in our enemies side.
I don't agree with everything Elon does (I really don't like the direction Tesla is taking cars, and am wary of a lot of the transhuman stuff), but I can still respect some of his companies accomplishments, and I love the consternation he has brought buying Twitter.
I do agree with him about the birthrate problem, we have too few of the right people having children for multiple reasons.
As far as how he handles "hate speech" we still have to wait and see what happens.
This is the entire problem. Twatter is either totally free or censors totally subjective "hate speech" which really means silencing anyone critical of Officially Persecuted Minorities and their political activists, especially homos and trannies.
Using these colloquialisms would still get you suspended, never mind the totally radioactive word that rhymes with "bigger."

He's probably going at it business focused, which is great news for us, not so much for the left. He would want as much engagement as possible so not banning people who have different opinions would assist that while targeting that which immediately makes people leave like death threats, throwing around words like nigga and CP all assist keeping engagement.
So he's not 'on our side' but his efforts to turn Twitter profitable and into a platform that rivals YouTube all benefits us.
