I don't get it. Rekieta is Jewish?
Or am I too scarred by modding Reddit and do I now view everything innocuous as a Stormfaggy comment?
No he's a polack but he has a huge schnoz, so his fans have nicknamed him "the nose".
He is not, but he does have an abnormally large nose. So he makes jokes about it all the time. To be fair, IIRC, he has made jokes about how he wants to use it as a pass because “They will know who I am”, but it’s all jokes.
He certainly grifts like one, but he is far from it.
Apparently the ban was because he was reading off the names of people who sent in Bar complaints against him [purely harassment complaints for his political views, not clients] and Youtube treated it as doxxing. However, those are public records, not private.
I'm sure him ranting about it will get a lot of views.
In my experience as a lawyer, suing Youtube would very likely cause them to just dig in and leave him banned for years while he litigated the case and almost certainly lost (even though he should win) because judges are super deferential to social media companies at least until we get state laws turning the tables on them like we are seeing in Florida and Texas.
Ayy, there's two of us. Well shameless plug to my law and legal news community, c/legal. I'd love to have more people post content there.
Yeah, I agree with your assessment. The default course of action that the general counsel offices will give is to preserve the status quo.
More than 2 but dekachin at least normally has good legal analysis unlike that tard that still uses the reddit sub and can't even understand basic case law
This goober

He spent a whole day arguing with me and claiming law enforcement could not order passengers out of a legally stopped vehicle
That is generally not a defense on social media sites, unfortunately.
What of the Berenson case against Twitter? Is Twitter more vulnerable because it's not making any money?
I wasn't following that. Odd that they caved in. And yes, I think the fact that Twitter is in a shitty financial situation would make them more likely to not see throwing money at lawyers as worth it, whereas Google has basically infinite money and probably wouldn't care.
Surely they'll let Elon save them then.
Yes. They throw all their money at that 1 hacky lawyer, forget her name.
Quite interesting. Noted.
Will be interesting to see if Nick sticks to his word to stop livestreaming on YT even if he gets his channel back.
He said just this afternoon that he was going to keep streaming on Rumble live but only post clips to YT if restored. He was getting 20k+ on his trial livestream today.
I imagine he'll reneg. Leaving YT voluntarily leaves too much money on the table.
He also had tons of his subscribers superchatting telling him they just canceled their YT premium in solidarity.
I think that he should do what Viva Frei does sometimes where he starts the stream on YT and then moves it over to Rumble after a set amount of time.
That could possibly work.
Nick is very aware that it takes about 45 minutes to reach peak viewers for his night streams.
He actually delayed reading the Keffals brigading professional ethics letters that he got his last strike for about 30 mins earlier in the week because he wanted max audience.
Apparently that Duncan McLeod faggot who Nick destroyed on his night stream a month ago had a mass flagging campaign on his Twitch stream last night to get Rekieta banned from Twitch as well, which apparently worked.
All on the basis that Nick called Duncan a faggot during the debate a month ago when Duncan was being a faggot (and secretly simulcasting to Twitch while on Nick's show and not telling Rekieta. Except he was too retarded to get Streamyard setup to dual cast and needed Nick's help to get it to work... ).
Rekieta and the half Asian kraken should tag team and just legally shit all over YouTube for an episode
I’m looking forward to the victory lap livestream tonight.
I caught him on Louder with Dave yesterday and him taking the piss out of it showed he wasn’t actually worried about the deplatforming lasting. Smart to set up his channels through a Texas llc which protects political opinions.
I doubt YouTube cares about that at all.
With the new Social Media Law freshly restored by 5th Circuit, I doubt Youtube wants to be first entity that Texas goes after.
I hope you're right. Been too blackpilled about all this lately.
Texas LLC + Texas Law?
