It's the same axiom behind virtue signalers being bad people. No good person feels the need to put a sign in their yard that says "I'm a good person". Only bad people who are in denial do that, to convince themselves more than anyone.
tell you whats making me chuckle is how half of the comments are right, for the WRONG reasons, they seem to think that the bbc is a nest of right wingers
It reminds of Ireland's state news outlet, who had to run a "truth matters" campaign, essentially giving themselves the status of the being the guardians of the truth, all while lying daily.
People who tell the truth don't need to advertise to convince people they are telling the truth.

"hate has no home here" is a clear sign that even if I'm kind to that neighbor, they're going to hate me
Also "science is real" is a sign of someone who's never even read the abstract of study on whatever topic they want to argue with you about
Real science needs no defenders. It will come through in the end.
Fake science, on the other hand...
Like Honest Abe.
There is a reason people are giving up TV licence just to hurt them, any prestige they had is long gone.

What's funny is that this is because the left is so deranged they think the BBC has a conservative bias.
