Bolsonaro is WAY behind in the polls, and so he has adopted a strategy of de-legitimizing the results and it looks likely that when he loses, he is going to fight instead of concede.
Even though I'm right wing and would prefer Bolsonaro, I think it is more important to preserve democracy, so it will be a tragedy if the dude tries to overthrow Brazilian democracy, especially when he's not even close to 50%, so any attempt he pulls will be very messy, ugly, and unlikely to succeed. The whole point of democracy is to ensure peaceful transitions of power instead of constantly ending up with civil wars and coups and unaccountable dictatorships.
It will also indirectly harm the Right internationally if he tries it, since Leftists the world over will use his shenanigans as an excuse to crack down on right wingers all over the world.
We've seen repeatedly that globalists only play by the rules when they know they can still retain power by doing so. As soon as they see there's a chance of someone disrupting their agenda, they throw the rules out the window.
Sitting by quietly while they steal elections because muh optics is a losing play.

Don't be a faggot. You bring shame to your name. Democracy is a gayop. Polls are fake. (also it's only GAE propaganda claiming he's going to cheat)
The whole point of democracy is to ensure peaceful transitions of power
When one side is engaged in generational warfare and soft tyranny, violence is often the only solution. Thomas Jefferson suspected free people would need a revolution every 20 years or so.
I don't know a lot about Bolsanaro but he is right to make sure his side is armed.
you and your kind - authfags - were forever banished from civilized society after WW2. Nobody wants you back. We are nowhere near the point where an armed revolution is even worthy of contemplation. You don't revolt like a fucking baby every time you lose an election, you work on winning the next election.
violence is often the only solution.
and yet here you are typing on the internet instead of taking up arms like a commie guerilla, so I can't take you seriously.
Thomas Jefferson suspected free people would need a revolution every 20 years or so.
you are invoking Jefferson to support a right wing coup and dictatorship. Bolsanaro would be the tyrant in that scenario. Just because you think you can't win the culture war, you want to make the Right's defeat utter and total by blinking 1st and trying to flip the chess board. You would not only be a fool, you would be a liability. A cancer. A gift to the Left.
If Bolsanaro stages a coup, he will lose, he will die, and he will usher in a RIGHTEOUS tyranny of the Left for a generation. The side that tries to destroy democracy invites its own destruction. The Left knows this, which is why not only have they not tried, but they have done everything in their power to glowie bait the Right. If the Democrats could provoke a semi-serious Republican coup, the Democrats would be rewarded with complete control of government for a generation, and the Right would be totally suppressed.
For example, if the Democrats nuked the filibuster and packed the Supreme Court, and rammed their agenda through including amnesty for illegals & statehood for PR and DC and "voting laws" just so that Republicans could never fairly win power back, THEN I would fully support all the Red States getting together and seceding.
Heh, nice deflection, but I'm nowhere near auth-right. Probably much closer to anarcho-capitalism or libertarian voluntaryism. I'm not even particularly conservative. Maybe I just hang out around right-wingers enough that their lingo has rubbed off on me. Your worries about "muh optics" of the Right looking bad on the global stage may have some merit, but you are operating within their playbook. Liberal Globalist Right vs. Left. I reject the premise.
Calls for lone-wolf violence are another gayop, so I would not be advocating that either. At this point there's little we can do but strive for social and economic dominance, or parallel systems. Changing the culture wherever you can. Doesn't mean we can't cheer for hard power victories against globalists when they happen.
But this isn't about me or my country. We're talking about your perception of Brazilian politics. Let's pretend that Democracy is Good and Holy and not a failed god. Why would Bolsonaro be the one to steal the election, or "revolt" if it doesn't go his way? I can't even imagine where you would get the idea unless you are a boomer idealist who believes the GAE propaganda machine. Any use of force by his supporters would be defensive or making sure the other side can't cheat.

This is the same fake news they said about Trump and his supporters in the US. Did "sources close to Bolsonaro's thinking" tell you how it will all go down?
a RIGHTEOUS tyranny of the Left
Yes everything they do is righteous. They're on the "Right Side of History". It's kind of a defining trait.
I'd ask if the commies are going to cheat but that's like asking if water is wet.
May his reelection be swift and decisive.
wtf
Quite a few countries have compulsory voting.
I have a question: Why do you think it’s impossible that he’s genuinely that unpopular that that it has to be election fraud, if you believe that.
Genuinely curious, considering how negative dekachin is right now, and I’d rather have this in a main comment rather than a reply to his comment.

Short version:. Pfft.
Democracy is not worth preserving. Least of all if it leads to such an immoral outcome as putting a communist in power.
We've seen repeatedly that globalists only play by the rules when they know they can still retain power by doing so. As soon as they see there's a chance of someone disrupting their agenda, they throw the rules out the window.
Sitting by quietly while they steal elections because muh optics is a losing play.
He will say "let them try to cheat, then they will prove to the world how bad they are".
And then... ?

When democracy is no longer an option.

I'm not a lib, but you stink of communism, authie

Questioning the results of suspicious elections isn't overthrowing democracy, friend.
Bye bye Bolsonaro. Enjoy your fortified results.
Any leader publicly willing to step up against big pharma is worth keeping around.
Lol I like Bolsonaro, I'm just saying he's going to be fortified out. Democracy is fake and gay.
