he finally “came to realize there’s been an attack, an attack on the nuclear family…an attack on men in our culture. And it filters down from entertainment.”
He has been in the industry for how long and just realized this? Also it isn't a "filter down", it is intentional. "Entertainment" is an attack vector and has been since the late 50s, maybe earlier but I haven't watched very much older than that.
...I maintain my stance: If a movie is good, it will be advertised on the merits of "it is good". If a movie is bad, it will be advertised on the merits of its morality.
This is likely a bad movie, they're just changing up the pandering message to experiment on sales figures.
All that stated, there is merit in "falling for" the ad experiment. Media drives culture, after all, so showing that pandering to be profitable could lead to more such media being created, even if the initial testbed isn't good.
Watch it do so by presenting all of the black men as great fathers and the white men as kid-abandoning drug addicts who come back in the early hours of the morning after a night of heavy drinking and raping.
I'll believe it when I see it.
That's the right answer. This could just be smarter-than-average marketing.

A Black father? Must be a fantasy film.
Stop capitalizing that shit.
“Black” is the guy’s last name.
11/10 joke, flew above most people's heads as well as the bar.
Oh, well. Be sure to tip your bartenders and waitresses. I’m here all week!
might be auto correct ?
The only thing I see on IMDB about this movie is this line:
"Jason is on an adventure to win the hearts of Noelle's kids before they marry."
So it's a film about raising another man's children. Just what we needed.
it'll probably be a mixed kid abandoned by the father
I'll believe it after:
The guys I know who's opinion I can trust say it isn't a waste of money
See it when it's free on streaming as I'm not paying money to watch a fast and furious film!

I'm pretty sure this will be about men serving women to be "good".
That's great. But could we just stop pandering to anyone and tell stories instead?
