They accidentally said why it suddenly became unsuccessful.

I find it difficult to believe that someone wrote this without knowing exactly how it reads.
It was all-white, all-straight, and it was internationally successful! Now it's diverse and multicultural, and nobody wants to watch it!
I've had this image sitting in my gallery for a few months, I thought it was funny, but maybe not funny enough to be worth a post. But I'm clearing out my storage, so I might as well post it.
Never even heard of it, but yeah "leaves the airwaves as a multicultural show" says it all.
I saw a new term earlier of "neurodiversity", whatever the hell that's supposed to mean.
That means catering to the mentally defective, so in other words trannies, faggots and all the cluster B personality disorders found in leftists.
If you've seen an Aussie actor, there's probably a 30-50% chance they've been on either (or sometimes both) Neighbours or Home & Away. They're the two main Aussie soap dramas. Chris Hemsworth, Margot Robbie, Isla Fisher, Samara Weaving, Jesse Spencer (Chase from House M.D.), Kylie Minogue, Russell Crowe were all on one or both of the shows when starting out. And while there are Aussie actors who weren't on either show, like Hugh Jackman, Cate Blanchett, Nicole Kidman, Eric Bana, etc, it's still a pretty common show for actors to cut their teeth on and prove their acting skills.
I was never a fan of either show, but seeing something like Neighbours come to an end? It's still the end of an era, especially with nearly 9000 episodes.
Guy Pearce, Daniel Mcpherson, Craig Maclachlan, Natalie Imbruglia and many more
I looked it up. It's unhealthy contrarian bullshit
We used to call them crazy people.
Might sound like that, what it actually means is you're bigoted if you don't recognize their multiple personality disorder as a quirky feature that makes them gooder than you.
"We successfully destroyed a show with diversity quotas and other bits of racism. Mission accomplished!"
A diverse cast doesn’t necessarily mean success. Doesn’t mean failure but I don’t trust a show runner who is focused on that over story. Plus they are broadcasting to mostly white countries so why is a white cast a big deal. As Nerdrotic says, everything doesn’t need to contain everything
It's all about what they're trying to sell.
"This is a good movie, it has convincing actors."
"This is a good movie, it has emotional actors."
"This is a good movie, it has black actors."
What's your selling feature? If your selling feature is just the melatonin count, you've got nothing worthwhile to sell, since millions of randoms off the street have that too. Advertising that is an acknowledgement that there's nothing uniquely good about your product.
And yet when I try to explain this I get attacked. But it’s clear as day
Everything woke turns to shit.
It's like they want all western shows to fail or believe they can brainwash us enough to accept it and watch it. People don't want diversity IN shows they want diversity OF shows.
My grandmother during lockdown got really into Korean soap operas, can't understand a bloody word but likes the drama and style. People wound much rather have shows from the source even with subtitles than get a western pandering bastardised version.
the problem wasn't so much the racial diversity - but the shoe horning of LGBTQ characters
