There has been some surprisingly good stuff released this year. The Northman was fantastic. Maverick was arguably better than the original Top Gun. Even in television, we got a good season out of Reacher. Terminal List and Tokyo Vice both just came out and were really good, and The Old Man with Jeff Bridges manages to suck without being woke, which is a feat these days. We might actually be seeing some studios pulling back from the politics in order to try and attract audiences, so hopefully Samaritan does the same.
I've read the Tokyo Vice book. I liked the first part about the dude's life, but by the end he was an insufferable cunt preaching about how he needs to save poor innocent women who go to japan to work and end up as whores.
Yeah Adelstein himself is apparently a bullshit artist, and his character in the show is pretty obnoxious, but the show itself is a pretty good neo-noir.
To be fair to the guy, Stallone seems like a good guy. He's made some great films over the years, but I think seeing the cash-in Expendables series really put action stars in a different light for me. First one was okay to good in spots. The rest ehh... Those aren't really movies so much as they are almost entirely 90s solo action scenes, but in another movie, now that everyone is old. Which I didn't need to see. Curiosity got me, and I should have known better.
...or money. If you're rich enough, you can do whatever the hell you want anyway. Stallone a) doesn't need massive external sources of funding b) can sell his movie on name recognition alone
I generally don't have expectations for movies anymore. Too many of them have been disappointing. That said, no.

One thing I have to give to him, I really liked the way he talked about the older detective guy he was friends with . He really did care for him.

I'm surprised they let a fucking white male to be the main and supporting actor. I'm waiting for the bait and switch.

I just saw the trailer. Looks good and Stallone is reliable
Oooohhhh.... consooooooom psyops and jewish propaganda.
Pirating psyops and jewish propaganda, and skipping scenes. Revolutionary I know. Think about it.
Never have fun, ever. Fun is for losers.
No. All I'm saying is "Don't feed the beast." Fun can be easily had without ultimately giving money to people who hate you.
You'll find some way to hate it. You ConPro LARPers always do.
"The developer's janitor's paternal great-grandfather's second cousin once-removed married a Jew, so fuck 'em."
Not my first rodeo, sonny.
