Once the Democrats gets crushed in 2022 and 2024 there will be a civil war in the Democrat Party where they will knife the wokes in the back, and for the next decade the word "woke" will be an epithet that Republicans use against Democrats while the Democrats run away from the term as fast as they can.
I doubt that. Democratic party is way to involved, they've been prompting diversity hire after diversity hire despite making them look bad.
The Democrats have no breaks on leftism as the support for leftism inside the party is huge. You can't have a civil war inside the Democratic Party when 80% of the members and 100% of new members are far leftists.
The neoliberal globalist business wing runs the Democratic Party. As long as their agenda sails through without hindrance, they'll happily lend their support for wokism. But if wokism costs them races or costs them seeing their put into action, they'll eventually attempt to curtail wokism. What will be interesting to see is if that ever happens, if they can do it without splintering their coalition. As you point out, many of their younger members are leftist true believers.

You talk like that wasn't also necessary between 2016 and 2018. They just spun up their institutions to get them the win over the next 4 years through propaganda and corruption.
