I'd give a shit if my own government (Germany) wasn't doing pretty much the same.
A journalist reporting on telegram from the eastern provinces of Ukraine had her bank account seized, her father's account seized, is under investigation for not toeing the Ukrainian line and faces three years in prison. All of this is being done by the German government in Germany mind you, not Ukraine.

I'm more on the train of, "What government can be trusted?" The Russians are bad and the rest are more of the same. I bet the Russians tell their people it's good to remove dangerous misinformation in these cases too.

Alot of people tended to stick up for the Russian government before the invasion of Ukraine because they were considered to be getting a raw deal from the regressive left despite their problems.
Yeah, but you still shouldn't trust, no matter how hardly or undeservedly they may or may not be getting fucked.
As someone who has stuck up for Russia on some issues, you'd still have to be a moron to trust them.
