Because, where they live, they do. Leftists spent a full year Burning, Looting, and Murdering their way through cities with virtually no resistance. Bugmen have been so thoroughly demoralized and dehumanized that they'd rather just let the wave of violence take everything from them than actually do something about it. They're all noise when they have establishment backing and know there's no danger whatsoever, but as soon as they feel the balance of power shift at all toward the other side, they curl up into a ball and wait for someone to rescue them.
My neighbor announced on state tv that if our local firefighters didn't get rid of the chiefs convicted pedophile son from the premises , which is right by a school, he'd remove the the pedo himself. Good luck burning down his house
Their only real exposure to violence is movies and video games. They view themselves as protagonists of the story and not the more likely bystander extra who is plunged into a world of chaos instantly that the audience knows is in real danger in the situation.
