I wasn’t even aware of homosexuality til I was about 9. Grew up in 80s so I didn’t see it on tv for kids and I guess my parents had better things to teach me than lgbt stuff.
I always thought that was reasonable and when I was in youth Sunday school we were taught yo love the sinner and treat people with respect. Tolerance would be great if it went both ways
You can both treat people with respect and hate evil, they’re not mutually exclusive. The problem with the Right is they don’t hate evil. They think they can coexist peacefully with evil, which never works out. Evil wants you to kneel or die, the only two acceptable options for them.
Those who supported gay marriage had no idea the Pandora’s box they opened.
Telling them that we won't stone them to death as long as they work to keep it in the closet was basic human decency. It's at best a fetish and, like all perversions, should never be made public knowledge.
My first exposure to homosexuality was seeing Pride Parades on TV in the late 90s/early 00s. Not a lot of gays in the Deep South, and even less of them out. So almost all of us considered them disgusting perverts from the earliest ages based entirely on their own actions and displays to the world.
You don't need people to teach you homophobia. Gays teach you to hate them by their own personality.
At this point, the only response is the Chad "yes."

And when we got "gay propaganda" it was:
Don't say FAGGOT
Don't use "gay" as an insult
Treat them with basic human decency
You can't get AIDS from water fountains, ignore that crazy US doctor Tony Fauci

Tolerating evil is not good. These are damaged people whose only goal in life is to validate themselves by bringing others down to their level

The ones who don't try to groom kids do.
Me: "Mom what's a homosexual?"
Mom: "Homosexuals are boys who like to kiss boys and girls who like to kiss girls."
Me: "Eww."
That was my teaching on gays.
Slightly wrong, girls kissing girls is pretty hot.
