Tbf, the United Church of Christ is one of the shittiest SJW churches out there. I would argue it's barely Christian and barely a church. It's more of a social club for leftwing progressive activists and deviants.
The only shittier denomination I know is the Unitarian Universalists.
Both UCC and UU are actively engaged in grooming, and I say that non-ironically or non-edgelordy. They are literally grooming children. Look up the "Our Whole Lives" program.
I attended a UCC church as a child. I haven't been in many years, but I keep up with news. The last 3 ministers have been a "queer" woman (with a male "partner") and lesbian co-pastor, replaced with a lesbian pastor, and the most recent is a gay man.
I sat through a Christmas service once where the pastor did not say the word "God" a single time. I'm not kidding. I kept track. Not a single "God" in an hour long service.
If you took gay activism, illegal immigrant activism, BLM, critical race theory, etc., rolled it up into a bundle, removed any belief in the Bible, the divinity of Christ, etc., and called it a religion, what you would have is not far from what the UCC actually is.
The only good news is that while almost all Christian denominations in the US have been declining, the UCC is in fucking freefall since they have pretty much excluded and ostracized anyone who believes in Christ. (And why bother going to a church if you're just a generic SJW NPC?) UCC lost more than 25% of it's membership in the last 10 years alone.

Funnily enough, this random article mentions the Naples UCC Church which has an attendance of 400+. 400+ pervs who think drag shows for kids is a good idea.
If by 'barely Christian' you mean 'not Christian at all', you would be right. It once was Christian, I think the Congregationalist Churches of the Puritans were absorbed into it, but this is the problem when you let people decide what their religion is supposed to be.
True that. And yes, the Puritan Congregrationalists did merge in some form into the UCC.
The church of Jonathan "Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God" Edwards has become literal child groomers.
They started out talking about "sinners in the hands of an angry god" and now are propagating "children in the hands of horny groomers".
