It's a pretty good show. Only a couple woke things I noticed. Might be more but I only noticed these things.
Practically all of the bad guys are white. It's small town Georgia though so it's not that far outside of the realm of possibility. Georgia cops assault black cop because of white neighbor. Wasn't as heavy handed as you'd think but it stands out.
Woman stronk! Two scenes stood out. Reacher gets in trouble for caring about a girl's safety, and another woman in a strip club beats a dude for groping a stripper. Unnecessary scene, but I guess the bouncers were off duty.
Worth watching though until they ruin season 2.

Yeah I saw that in another comment. I never read the books but after Amazon's Jack Ryan I should have expected it.
First Northman and now this, wtf is going on.
I haven't read the books, but as far as I was aware, the only real problem with the movies (or at least the first one, never saw the second) is that they cast a total twink in the role of a FUCKING BUFF Super-MP.
I've read 16 books of it and the first movie was not bad despite cruise being MC
In wonder, though, if the movie gets made without Tom Cruise.
The first one was good, even if Cruise is short.
The second one was just woke garbage though.

It was shit
I watched the season a while back so I don't remember much (I game with the tv in the background) but for the most part it was an okay show. You can tell it was a pandemic show the way it was shot, limited cast and extras, with plot that caters to the limitations of the filming restrictions, Ritchson was a good choice for Reacher given his size but I can't ever look at him and not think of him in Blue Mountain State eating a butt cookie.
Only other thing I remember is the race swap of Frances Neagley, of course they had to, couldn't help themselves and probably wouldn't get the greenlight on the project without hitting that checklist. At least they cast well for the thirsty deputy.
Can't wait for next season when they fuck everything up.
Its ok. They changed a lot from the books
The new actor for reacher looks like reacher but acts like a piece of wood imo
