I’ve noticed that instead of ignoring these inconvenient stories, these people just straight up use them to push whatever they want now. A democrat politician will go on stage and tell you that a black man shooting up a subway in New York is cause to take away guns from white people in rural red areas all over the country. It is so blatantly about disarming political and cultural opponents, and dems don’t even try to argue any of it logically. It’s basically just “any newsworthy event is an excuse to push my agenda“.
