I despise that term heteronormative. Yes a small percentage of the world (very small) isn’t straight but heterosexuality is the norm. Some people are born with 6 fingers but 5 fingers is the norm.
The term can be simplified as "normal". If you take the weather outside over a year and it averages sunny and 20 degrees, and outside is sunny and 20 degrees today, you'd say the weather is "normal".
I love the word hetronormative and we should embrace it, it's literally saying you're normal doing the normal and productive things our species has been doing for 100,000 years.
I don't care if some edge case anomolies want to do something different and not reproduce.
