The reasons they are doing this are because Dan Snyder, owner of the football team formally known as the Redskins, has been accused of basically sex trafficking cheerleaders, and Deshsaun Watson, an excellent quarterback recently traded to the Cleveland Browns after sitting out the entire season on Houston's roster has been accused by 20+ women of coercing them into sex acts while receiving massage therapy from them. It's PR so they don't have to go after an owner or star player.
Funny how they managed to use black people to their advantage, is not even clever anymore is so socially accepted that they do not bother being subtle.
