The real question is why are you still using gmail?
It's an old account that I use whenever I have to fill out a form or register for anything. I pay for Protonmail with a custom domain, so when they get cucked too I'll take my domain with me and not have problems transitioning between providers in the future.
Just giving you grief, I still have a gmail account from simpler and more naive times. It is even in my real name. But I switched everything I could to protonmail hidden behind sneakemail. $2 a month and its been working perfectly for me.
Also started using Yandex for registrations that don't accept sneakemail
You can use temp mails for that, like https://temp-mail.org/en/ or https://www.guerrillamail.com/
