Just because it supports Ukraine, doesn't mean it's NPC captive.
I support Ukraine's right to defend itself from a Russian attack. Doesn't even mean I oppose the east being annexed by Russia. You can't liberate people who don't want to be liberated.
The trouble I find is that I can't tell who is supporting Ukraine because they're virtue signaling apart from those who are because they've thought about it and really arrived at that conclusion.
And I have to presume that those that genuinely intellectually support Ukraine aren't making a big show of it. I certainly don't fly Taiwanese flags and wear Taiwanese flag pins to show off my support of Taiwan.
That's what I don't like about all these companies stupidly boycotting the Russian people to "take a stand". If they instead announced they will donate proceeds to Ukraine, that would be more effective and they could still get virtue signal points.
The brave homepage splashes 'sponsored images' by default, which you can change by hitting the customize option on the bottom right and hitting the slider for sponsored images.
Don't like it? Turn it off. Woke shit wouldn't have options like that.
I agree, if anyone has an issue they should go complain to brave.
Yeah some crypto fake-value bubble-aspirant is just trying to cash into a trend.

Liberating those who don’t want to be liberated is just conquering with more words
I know, that's my point.

It's a paid ad someone else is running on Brave advertising an NFT on the Metaverse. I don't know that this means Brave is compromised.
just an ad
no need to be outraged - if there is evidence they are refusing ads for pro russian shitcoins then its worth looking into
"Support Ukraine" is fine, particularly if it goes to civilians and not the war effort.
What is not OK is changing search results based on your beliefs.

Don't be crazy.
Exchanging a free boycott of Russian people for something that actually costs them money?!?!?
These are people who would sell their own grandmas to get a nickle.

That's an optional ad, that you could literally turn off, and you are being compensated to look at it monetarily.
Look into Brendan Eich, he's responsible for the whole thing, and I find him palatable. You may not.
You opted to see advertisements, and are probably subscribed to news from whatever this "Supremacy" game is, yet this is Brave's fault?
is brave selling a neonazi nft? LOL
they jumped, skipped, then hopped the shart here.
But i am skeptical of their privacy claims, too bois.
I'm trying to figure out why he's still here.
Brave's internal advertising is 100% shitcoin and nft shilling from white collar gangsters.
and?
