If Trump were still president, none of this would have happened because Zelinsky would have probably gotten a truce by now, and there wouldn't have been enough pressure to start a war. Instead the Fabians wanted one, and Russia was happy to oblige.
Preventing Ukraine's entry into NATO and moving the Russian border west are sufficient reasons for Putin's invasion and not at all outrageous given the history of the region.
In fact, with the power vacuum created by Biden's theft of the election, Putin picked the best time to make the move. His bluster regarding nukes had better be believed, because mad Vlad's ass is hanging out and he personally has nothing left to lose after this move. It's a gambit that will probably work.
