This part does worry me:
I have a gut feeling this means some BLM crap. And not only included but the center of the story. I'm also certain it will be forced as fuck.
The Witcher series did touch on racism thru elves and dwarves but it was not the main theme of the games. It was a nice take on the entire thing with no clear good vs bad conclusion. Although I did find it a bit forced in some quests in Witcher 3.
DA4 is going to be insufferable.
I'd be more worried about the related article:
Tells you all you need to know about the kind of people who make the game.
Dragon Age was overrated anyway. Yea, 1 was a good game but by no means as good as the hype. It made Bethesda games look stable and bug-free in comparison. I remember playing it and just about every single quest walkthrough on the wiki had a section about bugs and how to deal with them. And that was a couple of years after release and with community patches.
Never got around to playing DA2. Between the clusterfuck that was the ME 3 ending, their DLC policy (you could only buy from them and it never went on sale) and virtue signalling in DA3 I simply lost interest in their games.
DA3 was the reason I no longer watched Angry Joe.
I just could not understand what high score DA3 got, it was not only Angry Joe but all the the publications and reviewers. It was a time I was still shocked by things like this.
DA had always used Elves as a stand in for black people/Indians, I’m sure this game is going to be more heavy-handed than ever. It’s a shame, I replayed Origins a little over a year ago and I was shocked by how well it held up. Bioware used to be great before they caught The Gayness.
Origins was the only great one. I got bored in DA2 and in Inquisition I just could not get passed the MMO feeling I had at the beginning.
Yea that is a major red flag.
DA:I was awful and it was a struggle to get myself to even finish it.
The characters looked like shit, were written like shit, and everything got randomly sexual for no reason completely out of nowhere.
The plot was nonsensical and meandering.
The visuals were usually nice until suddenly they weren't.
The MMO type gathering and collection setup was an awful choice made even worse by the retarded mobile game esque wait mechanics.
Apparently the studio has only gone even further downhill after that abortion of a mass effect sequel which shan't be discussed.
DA4 is going to be nothing but gay nigger bullshit.
You did more then I could. I never finished it, mostly do to the same reasons.
I did like Origins and I've played it multiple times, despite the clunky combat and ugly character models.
"girls"
Not even considering it after the mess that was 3.
At this point, maybe the veil should be destroyed and all the people in Thedas killed because they all honestly suck. The humans are assholes and are the reason the Darkspawn exist. The Elves are weak, pathetic, and only good at getting conquered. Mages are magnets for demons. Dwarves do nothing but fight among themselves for scraps in their one underground city. And the Qunari are an individuality-crushing civilization that seeks only to conquer and absorb everyone under their banner. Seriously, screw 'em all.
I wonder if they will allow you to have an evil ending or not.
Update: game director is a literal tranny lol
Very good shape. They just have to add Turbo Denuvo and ship.
Woke DA4 gets 5+ years of development.
DA2 was given 18 months.
That is because they took resources from DA4 for Anthem. Big brain move on their part.
Is not like there is any talent left for Bioware, I was laughing when they announced that BG3 is going to be done by Larian studios instead of Bioware. No one has faith in Bioware anymore.
A game that's gone through enough development hell to cause the first project lead, who also led the development of the past two games and was involved with the first one, to leave. From a company that's flopped so hard not once but twice in two years that it's become synonymous with failure. Led by a new director who's dismissing the backlash of his company's previous failures as more of those evil Gamergate Nazis. Yeah, Dragon Age 4 is in real good shape alright.
My relationship with this series--and in retrospect, this company--ended the moment I finished the DA2 demo and saw what a crock of shit it was. I don't know if I can even go back to DAO anymore, despite really liking it back in the day. It just seems like I'll only ever see the seeds leading to Bioware's fall planted in it.
