For those OOTL regarding current Marvel capeshit, the Multiverse is now very much a thing so cancelling any current MCU character is easier than ever as they can just bring in a black version of that character from another universe if they don't want the current one for whatever reason.
Reasons include but are not limited to:
Starting to cost too much to retain.
Not woke.
White.
Christian.
Straight.
Note that all 5 pretty much ensure that at some point Chris Pratt is gone from GotG/MCU.
