I'm not going to stop them if they're shoplifting from a company with a policy against their employees doing so, like WalMart and all the chains. If it's a smaller store and the owner or cashier is screaming at or running after said shoplifter, I'll be happy to trip him up if I can.
“The streets are extended gutters and the gutters are full of blood and when the drains finally scab over, all the vermin will drown. The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout 'SAVE US!'...and I'll look down and whisper 'No.” -Rorschach
Walmart put some effort into anti-theft, but mainly they just accepted it as "shrinkage" and relied on the fact that there was still some inherent morality in society that caused most people not to steal. While simultaneously undermining that society. Walmart drove bankrupt businesses that had been part of the framework of small towns; a framework that promoted morality to begin with. Stealing is taboo because the shopkeeper is your neighbor, and you're taking food off his table. The underpinnings that made it a place where you'd want to do business are gone. And then the corp closes up shop, citing "everything stolen."
Kirk's right in principle - the longer you allow criminality to fester, the stronger it becomes. The point isn't to rescue Walmart, it's to live in a community without thieves. The problem is that it's so deeply rooted in some places that to do it safely you'd need to tear out the whole thing, DA and all.
Oh yeah, sure, 'cause Charlie Kirk would totally do that. He's a righteous warrior, a knight in shining armor. It's not like he's some ass who posts political takes on Twitter all day long. I hate when assholes online call people to do things that they'd never do themselves just to sound cool or badass (even if he's right). Fuck Charlie Kirk and fuck Wal-Mart.

Exactly. I'll help protect those that are unable to protect themselves, but the only thing stopping Walmart from protecting itself is Walmart.
I get what OP is saying but these idiotic DAs that allow this behavior are to be blamed. Ridiculous that people can loot like that
You mean the ones Soros paid to get elected? Imagine my shock that his nominees are contributing to crises in our country!
True. Plus they talk about lack of businesses in these areas but allow the time that drives it away
Not ridiculous at all.
Spend a better part of last decade vilifying self-defense and mocking chivalry. No one has the right when male apathy takes over.
You are right
Mega corporate stores are never going to be part of any home community. In fact, they are designed to be the exact opposite.

I think 99% of the chains are soulless at this point. Coof and BLM insanity have destroyed what remained of the morale at these companies.

“Do you need any help loading that into your car?”

Yes. Because if they go any smaller they get Rittenhoused.
