There's no helping these people. Wanting to protest a protest and then getting shut down by the people who you bootlick is just peak bugman. Hell, a cockroach might actually be offended at the comparison by now.
Yeah, at least cockroaches exercise their freedom to go wherever they want and do whatever they want, whenever they want; and they certainly don't like boots coming down on them.
Imagine protesting the government and giving a shit about a fucking permit. Oh, wait, that's the otherside this time. I get confused, I thought these people were supposed to be counter-authoritarian. Their mistake.
It used to take a little bit of time to organize a decent protest, like, maybe a few days to a week, at least. To print and pass out flyers, get the stuff for signs and make them, get phone networks going to get the word out that there's going to be a protest .... so you also had time to go to the city and fill out a form, and maybe pay a fee (depending on the size of the protest, if you're just a little grassroots thing, they'll just want to know when and tell you not to block anything). It's mostly a CYA thing for both sides.
Nowadays? I guess permits are kind of old fashioned, what with cell phones able to assemble flash mobs in minutes.
Protests don't always necessarily need to involve civil disobedience.
The truckers are involved in civil disobedience (assuming the organizers didn't get permits, and I have no idea, maybe they do.) Protesters get permits. Rioters cause damage. Demonstrations are the kind of protests that focus on education and awareness as much as it is "we don't like this". It's kind of splitting hairs, but sometimes, I think it's kind of important to split hairs.
Imagine protesting for the boot.
I can't get over how all the other non-US countries require fucking permits to protest.
That blows my fucking mind.
"Hello government, we'd like to protest you."
"lol no"
"Understandable, have a nice day."

Go Team Cockroach!
And the cockroaches will survive the fall of civilization. :P
Alright, that's truly The Great Honkening.
Bootlickers getting denied permission to bootlick, where have you seen something as honk worthy.

BLM was always allowed+encouraged+cheered on by Trudeau.
Despite many people being killed in the riots and billions in losses.
Great for big tech and online stores though - and they are the only people who count in the new WEF world.
the peak stupidity of protesting FOR the boot against your neck aside...
who the fuck asks permission for a protest?

You shouldn't have to request permission from the government to organize a protest.

honk fucking honk 😁
I hope they have a miserable time
Oh man, if they need the boot they lick to say yes to them, we are going to have a hell of a greater time!
Oh dear. Whatever will they do now?
