I'm not kidding when I say that this sort of shit happens every few months, and has for literally decades, but it has escalated ever since the Federal government (Left wing, at the time) "apologised", for "taking the children awayyyyyy-ayy", in 2008, and launched a program of "reconciliation", which has undoubtedly divided the country more than ever, and, I would argue, sent it into terminal decline.
Because, see, if you destroy all the symbols of a country, "rename" its places, towns and cities, obliterate its national unity, and take away its national day (Australia Day. They are literally trying to abolish it), then there is very little to hold it together, even outside of the current fascist takeover we are undergoing...
