Okay so let's say self defense becomes illegal.
That means once you've defended yourself against 1 individual, you might as well continue clapping marxists until you're taken down.
Well their reasoning is self defense measures are the reason for perpetuating more violence.
So you should allow yourself get beat to death and watch your wife and children get raped in your last dying moments.
Oh wait, sorry. I forgot, once you can no longer defend yourself, all bad things in the world will cease forever to exist so don't worry about that.

No, their reasoning is that if you need to defend yourself, you had it coming.
You had something somebody else wanted, which makes you privileged. Someone hates you? Probably because you didn't embrace whatever new propaganda zeitgeist has been heralded as the be all end all of existence.
If you deserve protection, the government, of course, will be the one you have to depend on for it. Some people rank high enough to get 24/7 military-grade security, you'll have to settle for a rape whistle and police car 30 minutes away.
If you're unpersoned, hell, you don't get police at all. Whether it's drug out into the street and shot or just starving to death because all banks and jobs are closed off to your wrongthink, same difference to them.
