Even if you don't submit your DNA willingly, did you ever get blood drawn in the past 5-10 years? Congrats, there's probably a data sharing agreement between any number of these medical service providers or machine manufacturers and some big tech tentacle.

Probably, but we’re talking about genetic information you willingly give our for non-medical purposes. That is easily preventable.

I was marginally curious but not enough to go full retard and submit my DNA to some company. My sister did it though so I actually got to see what my spread would be without having to actually do it, win win.

Idk if it's relevant to me at all if they have my sister's obviously similar DNA tho..

They've found and arrested relatives of people who submitted their dna.

I’ve always been content with family stories of my heritage because in reality what part of this rock my ancestors originated from has no real effect on my present or future.

That's a very sensible take.

Nice, tailor made viruses to make people they dont like die of "natural causes"

This was so obvious. Not to mention law enforcement Can sieze dna data on demand and these companies are happy to provide.

The worst part is you dont even have to submit your dna to compromise yourself. If you have any family do this they’re also basically giving you up not the data base as well.

I had mine done under a fake name. My relatives have already done it so I figure this way at least it ruins their family trees a bit.

When I told people that back in the day, I was met with a shrug. If they don’t care, I don’t care.
