Like what? Not a Catholic, but I'm curious. Growing up it seemed like John Paul II had always been pope and always would be. I had read Angels & Demons by Dan Brown (don't judge) and all of the rituals involved with electing a new pope seemed so weird and bizarre, and I never thought I'd live to see shit like that happen in real life. Then JP died and it seemed so shocking like a once in a lifetime event. So imagine my surprise when Benny ragequit. Electing a guy so old seemed strange and I figured he would have died before stepping down.
