I bought one of the recent NASCAR games and went to customize the character. They completely removed the gender selection, you just slide a bar from soylent male to tranny-looking female. You couldn't make any character that looked properly masculine like a real NASCAR driver and you couldn't make a proper looking woman either, just some androgynous, effeminate looking freak in between.
